Hello!

Hello and welcome back! If this is your first time here welcome to you too! Posting this on a Saturday feels odd but, due to the monster that is know as test week, here we are (a week and a day late)!

Noticing the little things

It has now been 7 months since I learnt how to Photoread. In that time there have been all the obvious changes that are to be expected with photoreading ,such as faster reading abilities and better information retention. However there are other changes that do take place. These changes vary from one person to the next. Within the first few months as a Photoreader you are encouraged to take note of the subtle changes you see in yourself after learning how to photoread. I actually kept a little journal of these changes and today id like to share some of those changes with you.

Inner Kindness

I am kinder to myself in ways that I haven't been before. In the practice of photoreading you need to affirm that you are capable of photoreading before you do it and you need to reaffirm that your photoreading worked after you have done it. This practice of affirming my abilities as a photoreader over and over again has rolled over into other areas of my life. I say thank you to myself when I get something done. I

I Believe I Can

I believe that I am capable of doing whatever I set my mind to. I have always believed this to some degree but, now I believe it on a completely different level. One of the first steps in learning to photoread is believing that you can do it otherwise it won't work. Now I find that as I learn new skills and encounter new challenges I believe that I am capable of doing it. It isn't just seeing myself on the other side of the challenge it simply is seeing myself being able to do what is right in front of me at that moment in time. It is taking one step at a time and taking time to enjoy and celebrate every step i have made forward.

I'm a Little More Creative and Playful

Photoreading encourages creativity and having fun. It encourages adding an element of play in whatever you do. I am a creative person by nature, however, what I find is that I am now look for more ways to play. Be it by adding cartoons to my class notes as a memory tool or looking for new ways to use my photoreading like, improving my Sudoku puzzle solving skills. I generally enjoy being able to add an element of play no matter how small to whatever it is I do.

These are only but a few of the little changes that I have noticed in myself. I hope you take the time to identify and appreciate the little changes in yourself in the past seven months.

Love and light
