Introductions

Hi! My name is Kombe Kumisuku. I am an avid reader, a book hoarder, a Chemical Engineering student and a Certified Photoreader. Now that you know who I am let's get into it.

What on Earth is Photoreading?

Before we can get to the fun stuff you need to know what photoreading is.

The act of Photoreading is part of the Photoreading Whole Mind System developed by Paul. R. Scheele who is an internationally acclaimed expert in neuro-linguistic programming, accelerative learning, and preconscious processing.

Photoreading enables you to read at a rate of 25,000 words per minute which means you could "mentally photograph" a book. It sounds crazy but, this is not a new idea. Your mind is capable of processing information that quickly!

Don't leave! I am not crazy! This stuff actually works. When I started I had no idea what photoreading was and I thought it was outrageous, but now that I know what it is and have learnt how to use it I can assure you it works .

How I got into Photoreading

I had never heard of photoreading , until my mum asked me to attend a photoreading seminar with her while she was in Jo'burg visiting during my mid-semester break. We went for the weekend intensive seminar and I started out not knowing what the hell was going on and came out at the end somewhat competent in Photoreading and excited to try it out. Fast forward a month later and here I am feeling a little more confident with my photoreading skill and excited!

Now you know who I am, what photoreading is and how we got here. So what next?

What happens next is that I share my photoreading journey with you. Tell you the things I have learnt, how I have integrated photoreading into my daily life and all the fun things I have done with it. I hope you will follow me down this rabbit hole and hopefully feel inspired to learn how to photoread.
